Christ gives the body its strength, and he uses its joints and muscles to hold it together, as it grows by the power of God. (Colossians 2:19 CEV)
Christ is the head of the body which is the Church. As the head, He provides directions and capabilities to all the body parts for them to do their individual tasks. All parts of the body are enjoined or united in doing the task commanded by the head. In the same way, we do our ministry in coordination with the others. We unite towards one goal. We have one mind, spirit, faith, hope, and love. We have one purpose and that is to give the highest glory to God. You and I must work together, help and encourage each other. Together, we can do great things because God is in our midst to strengthen us. Individually, we can only do so much but together, we can do more.
