“My people, I promise to give you my Spirit and my message. These will be my gifts to you and your families forever. I, the LORD, have spoken.” (Isaiah 59:21 CEV)
The Most High God made a covenant with His people, the Most Holy Church. His covenant with us made us special. As His people, His Spirit dwells in us. God does not dwell in things which are not clean, so He cleaned us of our sins. He forgave us of the sins we committed. He justified us with His blood. He continuously makes us holy with His words. He will do this sanctification until we are perfect in Him. The Spirit of God is a gift to all of us. It gives us peace, joy, and happiness. Through the Spirit, God’s love is poured into our hearts. The Spirit also teaches us the words of God. Having understood the words, we are given the faith of true Disciples of Christ. The Faith gives us the assurance of salvation of our soul and the promise of eternal life. This is God’s promise to us. God keeps His words. It is up to us to keep ours. In the Covenant, we promised to love and serve Him faithfully until death. Are you doing your part of the Covenant? He who endures ‘til the end shall be saved.
