Is it not true that whatever you think, plan or do will in the end for your own benefit and satisfaction? Think about it. You want to feel good in whatever you pursue in life. You would also put more importance to good company whom you would feel secure, good and happy. You would rather be alone than to be with someone you will not be happy with. You prefer someone who you think can make you grow, improve and find your full potential as a person, and who is wholeheartedly willing to support you to achieve success and prosperity. That is why people get married who spend the rest of their lives in loving and caring relationship for better or for worse, in sickness and in health ‘til death do you part.
So is with Christ and His Church. The Church is betrothed to Christ our Lord. She is the wife, the apple of His eyes. Christ loves the Church so much that he is willing to give his life for her. He promised Her a blessed eternal life in Paradise. As a Husband to His Wife the Church, Christ purifies her, sanctifies and prepares Her so that He may present Her for Himself without blemish, nor wrinkle nor spot but holy and glorious when He comes to fetch Her in the clouds for the their wedding in His second coming. We are His Church bought, redeemed and cleansed by His blood. We are now being prepared to become Most Holy for our Wedding Day. Are you getting ready for the coming of the Groom? How do you prepare yourself as a Bride pure and holy? Do you have enough oil for your oil lamp enough until He comes? Will you leave and forego the great opportunity to have a wonderful, blissful life with Christ? Beloved, Christ has given us His words. He is the only one who can provide us eternal life. He is the only one who can fulfill the promise of love forever and ever. Don’t go anywhere. Stay in loving and waiting for Him. He can come anytime.
