How is it then, brethren? Whenever you come together, each of you has a psalm, has a teaching, has a tongue, has a revelation, has an interpretation. Let all things be done for edification. 1 Corinthians 14:26
Abba, our Lord who gave us the gifts which we can use to worship you and to serve one another in the spirit of love. You commanded us not to neglect our meeting together for the building up of our faith. We need to go to you and have fellowship with our brothers and sisters as well, to find solace and peace of mind because we are in distress due to the crimes and corruptions, conflicts between people and nations, of calamities and disasters that endanger life and properties. We hear, see and experience them around us everyday that cause us to be weary and tired. We need to be strengthened by your love and by the encouragement of our fellow believers to re-charge and be ready to face the world anew. Everyone of us has a role to play. We have to work in perfect harmony to offer you a perfect sacrifice. We shall all sing psalms in joyful adoration for your grace, mercy and love. Our voices shall be one in declaring your great works in us. We shall hear your words of truth, the King’s Message through your Ministers, learn from you and live according to your commands. Your Words to us are food for our souls that nourish us and give us life. We pray and utter words of praise in declaring your amazing grace, asking you for your blessing to bestow in us. Moreover, others also reveals to us in words, actions or even by their mere presence your amazing works of love in their lives, and then we all obey in our own different and varied ways your words, giving them lives in us to be seen by all the people around us. Father God, when we come together in your name we are certain that you are in our midst. We feel your spirit and your presence assures us of your love and protection. Again and again, we shall gather in your name and perform our religious duties of serving you and serving one another in love. Amen.
