Sell what you have and give to those in need. This will store up treasure for you in heaven! And the purses of heaven have no holes in them. Your treasure will be safe-no thief can steal it and no moth can destroy it. (Luke 12:33 NLT)
Let us be good stewards of the possessions that God has given us. Do not hoard them for ourselves. Rather, let us share them with others who are in need. Know that you are blessed to become a channel of blessings for others. The kindness you have done for others are not in vain. You are doing it for God and He will repay you. It is foolish to keep your treasure and not use them for your sake and for others’ sake. It is wise to turn your earthly treasure to heavenly treasures. Share your riches and let the poor partake of them. In doing so, you lay up for yourself treasures in heaven. Your treasure is then safe, for there is no one who can steal them and they cannot rot nor be rusted. We can share our possessions generously and with cheerful hearts, in which case, it is really better to give than to receive.
