And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers. Acts 2:42 NKJV
The Most Holy Church of God in Christ Jesus traces its roots from the Church in Jerusalem which Jesus Christ preached as His Kingdom. As Children of the Kingdom we continue to propagate the faith we received from the Lord. We are also living according to the Kingdom life which Christ taught us. The Kingdom of God is not about enjoying life here on earth, or of material existence. It is not about eating and drinking. It is about living in righteousness and peace and joy in serving the Lord God. Our Church Bishops and Ministers, like the Apostles, teach us all the ways of righteousness. The Doctrines we receive are pure which nourishes our soul and spirit. Our life of obedience to the doctrines of the Church leads us to prosperity, happiness and fulfillment. We are even more joyful because of the love which exists in our midst. We share what we have, we help out each other, we encourage each other because we love each other God’s way, the Agape way. We are united in what we pursue. We are united in our mission to advance the Kingdom of God to all nations. We do our own part according to the high calling we receive from the Lord, through the guidance of our Church Leaders. We pray, we participate, and we proclaim the glory of the Lord where He has placed each one of us in the world. The world is the Mission field. Let us plant the seed of Word in the world and offer God the fruits of our labor.
